  1. Very interesting! I had no idea Twitter had such a great advertising system set in place. I’m very tempted to try it for one of my sites just to see how it works and what kind of results I get. I’ve tried both Facebook ads and Adwords and while both worked well, I know they could have done better. Pay per performance sounds like a great win-win for both the client and Twitter so why haven’t I heard about this by now? Why aren’t they (twitter) advertising this more?
  2. What is wrong with Google Adwords? I’m planning on using it to advertise an ebook I will launch soon. It was either this or Facebook ads but now I’m going to also look at Twitter advertising.
  3. In my opinion, Twitter is the perfect place to try and ad campaign on. Why? Because people are in a more of a shopping mentality when they’re here. Facebook is for browsing and seeing nice, cat pictures :) while Twitter is short and to the point and people act the same way about products or services being promoted here. They will either like it and buy it quickly or just hate it and don’t come back. Just my 2 cents.
  4. I would also add that you need to know what keywords to target with your Adwords ads. This is very important because you pay by click so whenever someone clicks your ad you pay a fixed amount thus you want every click to be from people looking for your product or something similar. Otherwise you won’t even make up your money back not to mention making a profit.
